Hospitality Donations and Hospitality Bag Donations     View        Download

The Hospitality Committee is planning to assemble 150 hospitality bags. You need not send 150 items as the contents of the bags do not have to be identical. You may also make a cash donation to hospitality and the hospitality committee will pool the donations to purchase additional items to add to the hospitality bags and to stock the hospitality suite. Donors of money or merchandise will be acknowledged in the catalog provided the donations are received by February 13 13, 2020

Front row seating for sale again. This year you may purchase a new chair with this year’s logo, the CCCI logo and your kennel name. Already have a chair? Still want front row seating? We have created an embroidered Velcro pocket to attach to the arm of your chair which includes front row seating. The pocket is on the inside so it is more secure to hold your money and keys. They are designed for 3 pockets to fit on the arm enabling you to collect them for the next 3 years. Pre-Ordered Catalogs     View        Download

The 2020 Catalog will have the National show and 3 regional Specialties

 Why pre-order? To help reduce costs for the Club. The Dog Show Superintendent only supplies a certain amount of catalogs per the contract. By pre-ordering it helps the club determine if additional catalogues may be needed at an additional cost and saves you money too. If you wait until the show to purchase your catalog, you may find that catalogs are sold out. There is a $5.00 savings by pre-ordering.

Catalogs may be pre‐ordered at a cost of $15.00 each. Catalogs purchased at the show will be $20.00 each.

Marked catalogs must be pre‐ordered & will be sent to you after the show for $30.00 providing they are shipped to an address in the Continental United States.

Deadline to pre-order catalogs is April 1, 2020.

These are two of the premier events at the national specialty. Both newcomers to the breed and seasoned fanciers whose bookshelves, curio cabinets and walls are maxed out with Chow collectibles, artwork and books never miss the auction as every year presents an entirely different array of unique surprises and rare objects, many of which cannot be acquired elsewhere if not acquired at the auction. Bidding can be fast and intense for some of the most desirable items.

The Awards Banquet is where the Club recognizes those who were awarded the top honors at the national specialty show and obedience trial as well as those who had a stellar awards year in the show ring or in the whelping box. It is an opportunity to visit with these achievers to learn their paths to these successes.

2020 Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluation     View        Download

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC) testing will be offered on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the conclusion of the CCCI National Obedience and Rally trials.

Our CGC evaluator is Margaret DiCorleto. You must preregister to participate. The cost is $15.00 per dog.

AKC Trick Dog – NOVICE     View        Download

Entry Fee $20.00 Entry Deadline: March 28, 2020 2020 The Trick Dog Novice level evaluation will be held at the conclusion of the Canine Good Citizen testing which follows the obedience and rally trial.

For Trick Dog Novice requirements please review http://www.akc.org/trick-dog/ . At the Novice level, your chow will need to know at least 10 tricks as outlined in the Trick Novice checklist on the AKC website (www.akc.org). However, if your Chow already has a Canine Good Citizen title recorded by the AKC, only 5 tricks from the Tricks Novice checklist are required. Our evaluator will be Margaret DiCorleto. You must pre-register to participate. The cost is $20.00 per dog.

2020 Parade of Titleholders and Rescues     View        Download
April 27, 2020 Entry Fee $26.00; Closing date March 28, 2020 The Parade of Titleholders is a non-competitive event to celebrate the accomplishments of your chow.
The theme this year will be a “Movies to Music”, with costumes for both you and your Chow encouraged. An announcer will read a narrative written by you as your Chow is moved around the ring to music of your choice. The spectators will roar their approval when they hear of your Chow’s accomplishments and rescue stories.
Entry fee is $26.00 which provides the owner with a beautiful maroon/wine and gold colors individualized with the Titleholder’s registered name and call name and/or registered name of rescues.
